Yukon to Commoditize Data Mining
According to this ZDNet article, Microsoft's goal is to commoditize the market for data mining tools with the upcoming Yukon release (presumably for the Windows platform). I think this may be a bit overstated, but Microsoft is definitely looking to provide more of an "all in one" platform for your data access needs with Yukon.
