A new development project- looking for your input
I've written about my new software development project to build a web-based digital asset manager, and I would like your input on the effort. Check it out and let me know what you think.

I have been doing this same thing for about a month now, will be interested to follow your process/progress. I would love to see how you attack the mac problem; to make a real product in this space that is successful, embracing the macintosh in a rich way is key.

Keith- I'm not sure that I need to support the Mac explicitly for most of what I'm doing since this will be a web-based app. I'll flesh it out in the requirements and we'll go from there.

Hello, I've read your draft vision and I think it's a good idea. I have few comments:
-I think user should be able to sort contents also by date/time, title and by any common parameters not only by media type.
-Automatic thumbails generation from images could be nice feature
-I don't know what exactly do you mean by "hot folder". Maybe for administration it would be nice to have smart client since it's quicker to manage files by drag and drop than via IE.

Anyway, I can help you with that as programmer or as user.
