Congratulations! I've been doing remote work for MSFT for about a year now (part time, as a contractor). It has its challenges - MSFT is very much a "everything happens in Redmond" company, but all the same they're sophisticated enough to be successful remotely by using technology. I think you'll find that being able to live where you want to live makes up for the occasional difficulties you'll encounter.

Glad you decided to jump on board with MS. I'm an engineer that once was offered a job a couple of years ago from MS, but turned it down at the time. Now that I'm seeing all the great things they've been doing over the last couple of years, I'm kinda kicking myself. Anyway, hope it works out for ya' Can't wait for Longhorn and the next server edition...
