&lt;p&gt;But your not supporting VS2003 on Vista even though that is still within the 5 year lifecycle. [inc. the find in file crash that I reported last year, that has now been rejected on connect &amp;lt;sob&amp;gt;]&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How does MS decide which products they will honour the 5yr lifecycle and which not?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;maybe i think they didn't deliver this because Vista a desktop OS not Server one such as supposed Longhorn OS.&lt;/p&gt;
