Yes- none of us who founded the TC were fans of SOA at first. We asked a very pragmatic questions "What is SOA? Is it architecture as the name implies? If it is, how do you express it as architecture? How is it different from other architectures like client server? Is it sufficiently different to warrant its' existence?". This TC is about answering these questions. There is a "Check your Marchitecture at the door" attitude in the TC.
