VSlive 2006

I have just got back from VSLive 2006 where I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to deliver the opening keynote on Tuesday morning followed by two breakout sessions later that day - one on "InfoCard", the other on WCF. Paul Andrew was also there delivering a couple of great sessions on WPF and another on Windows Workflow. It was great to catch up with Keith Brown (also delivering a session on "InfoCard"), Richard Hale Shaw (dutifully stepping up to perform as MC for the day) and of course, the great people at Fawcette Technical Publications who once again staged a great event.

It's always great to get out of the office, and meet and discuss people working at the coal-face, delivering solutions on our (and other) platforms and technologies. I always learn a great deal about what it is really like out in the real world from discussions with people like you! Thank you for sharing your thoughts, ideas and questions and look forward to meeting with more of you at TechEd 2006 in Boston in just a couple of weeks time!

And to anyone who attended my keynote and who witnessed a WPF demo app completely trash my machine, forcing a reboot half way through my skit ... I'll try my darndest to repeat such an audience pleasing stunt at TechEd too! :D
