I'm reluctant to say exactly what the interview question was. On the other hand, I did leave a fairly good hint in the post, and it's possible to find lists of Microsoft interview questions on the web. So, go find one of the more comprehensive lists. You should be able to figure it out from the hint I gave.

Great blog. Got a quick question for you. In the last year most of our folks have switched from Windows XP to Mac OS x, usually via a powerbook G4.

Our company mail platform is exchange. we're all using entourage with mixed results.

So, the $64k question - when will we get a "real" version of MS Outlook for OSx? Will it be part of the office 2004 update?

The Mac Outlook client is owned by the Exchange group, which is actually outside of Mac BU. Unfortunately, I don't know what their plans are for upgrading.

Office 2004 will have the same apps as Office X, but Entourage will have improved support for Exchange servers.
