Installing Team Foundation Server Proxy and @H_APPLICATION_NAME@

If you’re installing Team Foundation Server Proxy, here’s a small errata change for the How to: Install Team Foundation Server Proxy topic in the Team Foundation Installation Guide, July CTP:

In step 3 of the procedure, To configure Team Foundation Server Proxy, there is a table of parameters and the values that should be entered in proxy.config.

Parameter

Value

@H_BISSERVERMACHINE@

The URL for your Team Foundation Server (for example, http://ServerName:8080).

@H_APPLICATION_NAME@

HATIISDIR

@PROXY_INSTALL_ROOT@

The cache folder you specified during setup (by default, %SystemDrive%\VSTF\ProxyServer).

The value for @H_APPPLICATION_NAME@ should be SCC.
