Deploying Applications with Distributed System Designers

There’s a new Team System article on MSDN from Ali Pasha and Krishnakumar Balasubramanian about deploying applications using the deployment report you can generate using the Distributed System Designers. They wrote this months ago, but it’s just now finding its way through the system to get published. I'm glad it's finally online, and I apologize publicly to Ali and Krishnakumar for the delay.

The Distributed System Designers in Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition for Software Architects provide an environment for designing, developing, and validating a deployment of a distributed system. In addition, Distributed System Designers generate artifacts, such as a Deployment Report that can be used for scripting a deployment. The goal of this white paper is to provide an overview of deploying applications using the Deployment Report. (8 printed pages)
