MSDN Wiki Stats

Since its launch two weeks ago (MSDN Wiki), 165 contributors added 744 content blocks to 613 topics in MSDN Wiki!

In my opinion, that’s not a bad start; however, most of those contributions appear to come from two Microsoft employees. I think this is to be expected early on, as we saw with answering forum posts in the beginning. We also gave them a head start to prime the wiki.

The feedback we received at TechEd was overwhelmingly positive for this inaugural release of MSDN Wiki. Over time, I hope we see more and more content blocks coming from non-Microsofties. I’m sure you know something you can contribute. Don’t be shy.

It is looking like a really useful resource. Especially when some of the more historic parts of MSDN come available for annotations.

Would be nice if the change RSS feeds included what entry was being annotated (e.g. recent entry "What does this do?" ... what does what?)

It's just painful to go through the signup, the EULAs... as a first-timer, it's freakisly intimidating.
