Trust me it isn't because there isn't anything to write. No, the problem is actually that I've been writing internally . Would it be possible for the Windows Installer to access user preferences around install, perhaps specificed in a control panel?

I never use the Quick Launch bar and I don't want desktop shortcuts and in every installation I do I have to go tick to turn those of. It would be nice to have an installation control panel where I could specify those once and for all and have application installers look at my preferences and default to those.
