Demos Happen {Here} - Sliverlight Streaming Upgrade
Those interested in entering the Demos Happen {Here} Competition all know that a condition of entry is to post your video to http://sliverlight.live.com Our original intent was to enable everyone to stream their video on their own blog, and feature it on the Heroes Happen {Here} Community Website.
Since then, we've been struggling to actually reference the videos on the site, which has caused a delay in getting the current entries up for everyone to see.
On the week-end, the Silverlight Streaming team made a significant change to their site, which allows one to stream a WMV directly to a Silverlight Application.
In the registration page, ensure you enter the URL to your video in the following format:
http://silverlight.services.live.com/UserID/Application/Video.wmv
where:

UserID is your 5 digit ID number for Silverlight.live

Application is the name of the Silverlight application (this will be the folder the video is stored in)

Video.wmv is the actual name of the video file.
Leave the rest to us, and your entry will shortly be appearing on the site for all to see and marvel at.
