Embedded Development
At Imagine Cup in Paris, for the first time, I had my eyes opened to the power of Embedded Development. Essentially, this is developing a software solution for a prescribed hardware function. Computers running particular functions without the traditional IO peripherals you would expect.
Think ATM, or In-car Navigation system. Or, as we saw in France, a car management system, which allowed for the first car which runs 100% on Canola (Cooking) Oil. There are many hybrids, but the Embedded System allowed this car to run without the need for any diesel.
One of the coolest things about TechEd as an event, is the opportunity we get to hear from some of the thought leaders in technology.
Putting these thoughts together, we have Mike Hall, The Architect, Windows Embedded, delivering the keynote for the Embedded Dev Day, via Live Meeting.
The Embedded Dev Day will provide the only depth training for Windows Embedded here this year. If you currently develop for Windows Embedded, you want to be there. If you don’t, you may want to come along and be inspired by one of the fastest growing areas for development today.
Either way, check it out, for only $220, and limited to 40 places, this is likely to sell out soon.
