EA Sports – nicely leverages on “You”
Yes, You!
Recently I have been reading up and thinking a lot about the widely used Social Strategies by a lot of brands.
I had a session in TechEd 2008 SEA where I talked about Web 2.0 and the slowly emerging Social confidence in Malaysian companies.
I did keep the talk to Web 2.0, but a lot of you guys were also super interested in Digital Marketing and Social Media.
I hear you! And I did managed to catch up with a few of you guys this week and am catching up with more of you next week – and as per your request, I will integrate more of these topics in my coming talks.
In the meanwhile, take a look at this example of how EA Sports utilized You Tube instead of taking up space on main stream media to address a user posted glitch on their Tiger Woods ‘08 title.
Now, I am a big fan of Tiger Woods – and as a consumer, if a brand shows me videos like this – how can that brand not get a fan?
