The help file for 2007 would really be a fine thing .. ;-)

I try to figure out what the option -preparetomove means and does,

because i got an error message after restore a content db from a

different server, and the message hints:

Use stsadm -o preparetomove with parameter -OldContentDB <uniqueidentifier>

But no hint from where to get this guid. OK, i fixed it with SQL profile which

showed me which table the command touches, so I found out what was wrong.

But still wonder, what preparetomove does and how? Because I want

to move sites from one db to another, and maybe that is possible with that ...
