Search Macros V2 is Live!

Now we can't create Macros for academic searches?

So now we can't create Macros for Academic searches? I thought newer versions are supposed to 'add' features.

Sachin: The scopes you can currently use for macros are Web and News, same as what we supported earlier. But we definitely plan to add support for more scopes in future releases.

I could be wrong as I haven't seen the older macros, but this page seems to imply that earlier it was possible to have Macros for Academic searches:

Anyway, my interest in Macros is to get RSS feeds for updates to Academic searches. I would love to see this feature soon too.

Hi,
Congratulations on releasing the feature. I think the basic mode is valuable.

I'm running IE7 RC1 and the output on the test page when testing a macro is somewhat scrambled at the top.
