Microsoft licenses SCO Unix

Huh?!?! Microsoft is said to be licensing SCO Unix Does this mean that we'll see some changes in Windows in the future? Or will it just mean that things like Services for Unix will become more Unixy?

This is a smart move on the part of MS, by paying the licensing fee, they are adding to the legitimacy of SCO's claims, which, if found to be true, could mean huge problems for the linux camp.

This doesn't legitimize the case at all. Chekout Bruce Perens' article on CNET today to see how weak/non-existant the case is.
