Live Mesh wins at the Crunchies!

I went to the 2008 Crunchies Ceremony, sponsored by TechCrunch last Friday in San Francisco. It was the second year for the awards and was packed with over 900 attendees. It turned out to be a good night for Windows Live as Windows Live Mesh won the “Best Technology Innovation/Achievment” and Ray Ozzie was there to accept the award. Back in July’08 I had a written a blog on Live Mesh and yesterday at the 2008 Crunchie Awards and after ~ 350k votes were cast Ray Ozzie and David Treadwell from Microsoft accepted the award for Best Technology Innovation/Achievement on behalf of the Live Mesh team.

I was having lunch with @roseannhiggins and @cherylfarmer Wednesday afternoon and I mentioned that Microsoft Live Mesh was nominated for a TechCrunchie award (until January 05, 2009). They, of course, wanted to know what it is so I’m tossing out a few sites to get everyone (well, all 3 of you) started on one of the foundation technologies for the future.
