Happy New Year 2008!

While some of you might have read the Portal Interoperability Paper already I'm really looking forward to the news that Microsoft offers Fast to be part of our company. This would change some major parts of the paper and make an interoperable Portal really compelling without the need of any 3rd Party software or complicated customizing for Search. I hope we can achieve it and I'm able to talk about that news during the SAP BI and Portals Conference in Orlando in March.

As a reminder to you - we still run the TechNet WebCasts for Interoperability between SAP and Microsoft where we had the pleasure to listen to our MSIT (Hans Reutter, Director SAP Applications at Microsoft) about the use of SAP applications, their connectivity to the Web Front End as well as the Platform itself. Hans really is the expert being with Microsofts SAP related organisation for more than 10 years now. If you are interested you can still download the recordings after registering for the WebCast at our Customer Information Center. Next week (22nd of Jan) we will repeat the Portal Interop WebCast with demos only.

Please also note thate we will have a Customer Advisory Board Meeting (CAB) following SAPPHIRE Berlin in May. This will be the first CAB in EMEA about SAP led by the Global Alliance Team. Please stay tuned.
