Did you know... What C# books to read

I asked around on the C# team what they recommend reading...

Getting started

Other favorites

Back in the day when i was ACM Chair of my university, we got a beta 1 (?) copy of C# along with Eric's book.  I remember thinking, "hmm, maybe i should hold on to this."  This was way before i thought about becoming a MS employee.  Maybe i can get him to sign a copy =)

Happy Visual Studio'ing!

I really liked Eric's too. He was a 3rd edition, covering C# 2.0 that *just* came out: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1590595017

Gunnerson's book is a standard around the office here. I personally like the Dietel & Dietel books, particularly the "How to program" series.

I found the book by Liberty to have some blunders. The way I found it was I was reading the book about .NET Framework by Don Box and Chris Sells for an interview and then for a quick overview of C# I turned over to Liberty's book and it had got somethings totally wrong. I would like to add the book .NET Components by Juval Lowy to that list.

Another excellent (and concise) C# book, IMHO:
