Did you know... You can use Ctrl+F6 and Ctrl+Shift+F6 to navigate among opened document windows? - #144

Happy Mardi Gras y'all from New Orleans!!  Laissez les bons temps rouler encore a Nouvelle Orleans!

Similar to Ctrl+Tab functionality, Ctrl+F6 and Ctrl+Shift+F6 allow you to navigate to the previous and next opened documents, based on a most-recently used sort order.

Window.NextDocumentWindow bound to Ctrl+F6

One clear difference here is that the IDE Navigator does not appear, unlike when you use Ctrl+Tab.

Ok that is one I did not know and certainly am glad to have learned. I hate using the mouse and try to do everything via the keyboard. However, not knowing this one has caused me to use the mouse to often in VS.NET. Thanks.

I am too much dependent on Ctrl + Tab, so I changed the keyboard mapping for Ctrl+Tab to "Window.NextDocumentWindow".

Hey Now Sara,

I always enjoy trying the tip out after I read it. After trying this one I'm more comfortable & used to Cnrl+Tab also I think Cnrl+Tab's big advantage is it can easily be done with one hand. It's tough to hit Cnrl+F6 with one hand wih your pinky on Cnrl key (ever try it?) As always,

Thx 4 the info,

Catto
