Did you know... You can switch between Icon View and List Item View in the toolbox? - #185

And yet another i had no idea you could do this until someone showed me.  By having just the Icon View, you can save a lot of space within the Toolbox.

For each toolbox grouping, you can customize whether to show the flat list of controls and their names or just show their icons.  Right-click anywhere in the desired group, and uncheck List View.

Toolbox List View option on Context Menu

List Item View (Default):

I don't know why, but the icon view reminds me of classic VB's control palette.

Will I never stop being amazed at the features that have  been hiding in plain sight?

I've been developing Windows software since 1990 (when, by my calculations, you were 12 (Happy Belated Birthday, by the way, and keep up the Did You Knows (Because I didn't!))), and you still find something I didn't know about almost every day.

As an aside: The nested parentheses make that last sentence look like Lisp.
