Why some projects have a Download Now button on their homepage - #029
You may have noticed that some projects have a Download Now button on their homepage
Whereas other projects don’t.
I would love for all projects to have just a Download Now button, but unfortunately, we currently don’t have a default file concept in the default release. For projects like my demo project above, I only have one file associated with the release, so it is obviously the default file to download. But for projects that have numerous files, we don’t know which one is the default file until we introduce the concept.
If anyone else would like to see a Download Now button for mutli-file releases, here’s the work item to vote on.
