talking about sorting... how can i sort the items in the "add new item" dialog? i.e. Visual Studio installed templates: web form, html, master page, web user control, class, xml file, etc...

i've been wanting to know that one for a long time.

How can I sort the dropdown list of events for a control. IE if I want to direct a button click to a currently defined event, how can I sort the list presented when I click the expand dots

@Chris yeah, i'd like to know the answer to that one, too. K. Scott Allen did this (http://odetocode.com/Blogs/scott/archive/2007/02/10/10505.aspx) with Powershell, but i'd prefer not to go there.

This is for releasing the component that you're placing on the form. For example, if you want to place a textbox, but when you have clicked on the textbox add component, you change your mind and dont wanna add it, then you can click Pointer to go back to a normal cursor.
