Dynamics CRM - Web Services APIs, Mash-Up & Community Sandbox

Published 17 January 06 04:02 PM | satyanadella

Just wanted to post a quick reference to some exciting development taking place around CRM. First off there is a site fully dedicated to community development around CRM - CRM Sandbox - In here you will find useful community based add ons to CRM.

One particular code sample is a good example of what I have written about in my previous posts - a mash-up of Dynamics CRM and  Map Point. You will find down load sample code for this at CRM Sandbox Downloads. The article and sample code there introduces the basic concepts involved in integrating the location-based features of the MapPoint Web service into Dynamics CRM. It shows how you could customize the Dynamics CRM Contact form allowing it to show a MapPoint map that displays the Contact’s address.

Would love to see others take this idea and add to it......
