MVP Summit

The MVP Summit is wrapping up today.  Unfortunately, I can't attend today's events (my wife is in Santa Fe, so I'm on kid duty for the whole weekend), but I do have a few minutes to blog about it.

Microsoft MVP's, who are spread throughout the world, are an extension of our product team.  The MVP Summit is an annual opportunity to further strengthen our relationship in-person -- to thank them for all the work that they do, to talk about our future plans, to gather feedback on the product and the MVP progam, and to socialize.

The dinner on Thursday night was a fun social event.  In this picture, I'm with Francois Bonin from Ghana, Ernst Kuschke from South Africa, and Raj Pai from my team.  We are a far-flung team!  Thanks again to all of the MVP's!

Check out C# MVP blogs for some of their thoughts on the MVP Summit, or see the C# MVP page to see profiles of the MVP's you interact with online.

Scott, remember to take your wife for dinner in South Africa! And when you doubt whether it's a good idea, chat to Raj ;)
