Convoy sample

Thanks to Dan from Covarity for this one. It uses MSMQT as a transport. Enjoy.

Hi

I would like to know how to test this sample.

Basically I have a non-BizTalk working version of code which would place a message into MSMQ and based on message I would do some processing.

I would like to achieve the same using MSMQT.

How will I do that?

Thanks in advance

Hi Scott

We will be using Uniform Sequential Convoys a lot in the project I am working on currently, so I have been testing this mechanism out. I've run into a potential problem. If you bind your Orchestration port directly to the message box, rather than to a Recieve Port, the convoying works fine except in one regard. After the Orchestration has successfully completed processing the correlated messages in the Convoy, a service instance is left behind in HAT with a status of 'Completed with discarded messages'. This doesn't happen if you bind to a specific Recieve Port. This is a problem, because you can't undeploy an Orchestration until you have terminated these service instances in HAT. Any ideas what is going on?
