Choosing the right workflow implementation with BizTalk Server 2004

Its 1am in Boston (I'm on a road-trip having some excellent discussions with reviewers and analysts) and I thought I'd share with everyone an important document that describes the decision points you should go through when selecting which of the 3 workflow alternatives you have with BizTalk Server 2004. This document also includes roadmap implications of your choices. Grab it and read it here.

P.S. I've seen the final "pdfs" for the book and 11/5 - 11/9 is looking really good. I can't wait.

Great news about the book. I think I've set some sort of record on Amazon for longest length of time for a book on order. Please keep us updated.

We have used Infopath with Sharepoint and Biztalk via the Sharepoint adapter sample.

We have submit Forms via Sharepoint to Biztalk for sending to other systems and also, based on details from a backend system, we used Biztalk to create Infopath forms and submit them to sharepoint, for users then to add other details, before sending back via Biztalk to other systems.

The whole solution worked very nicely and opens up a lot of possibilities for workflow applications to be managed by Biztalk.
