The site looks great! One thing I wish the site had was an accurate and complete list of blogs maintained by members currently on the product team. Currently, the blog list found here

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/teamsystem/dd314520.aspx

is very small.

How about putting something together that more extensive like the one found here: http://teamsystemlive.ning.com/page/resources-1 check out the Microsoft Bloggers category. This list is old and needs some updating, but it's hard for someone outside of Microsoft to know who has left the product team and who are the new people blogging.

Also the individual OPML files found here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/teamsystem/dd314520.aspx seem outdated. For instance Peter Provost and Cameron Skinner are not on the Architect Edition blog list but they featured on the main page http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/teamsystem/default.aspx under Architecture

great catch and suggestions for our blogs chris. thank you!

they are definitely on my radar once the dust settles a little from launch. there is such a vast wealth of information in our blogs i need to do a better job surfacing it up on the web site so it'll make it easier for folks to discover and find information.

three things:

> surfacing a blog directory (i owe chuck lunch ! - he fought hard for this a couple months ago.)

> updating all our feeds

> adding new content - that surfaces product scenario based topics that are found throughout our posts. the goal here being to help folks go direct to a post based on an activity - such as version control, building and releasing, etc.

any other blog-related items i should be considering?

The home page requires an RSS feed so that its easy to know when content (blogs or articles) listed on the site has been updated.

I think the 3rd point is interesting where you take a topics like "version control" and pipe all posts from a variety of blogs. It would be a great idea to provide an RSS feed as well for these topic aggregates. You can implement this in about an hour using http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/. Check out the video tutorial.

i appreciate all the feedback i've received through a variety of channels. i'm still digging out a bit - having lost a few days to the ugly flu bug folks were passing around last week ;)

i see a couple suggestions here i need to check out and add to the list for site iterations. specifically the rss feed add to the homepage and checking out how /pipes works for the blog topic aggregations we're considering.

The site looks really good. I especially like the fact that the Dallas user group is at the top of the list. :D Watch for an update in the near future as we are working on transitioning over to a site on Ning.
