&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;"Unable to read the project file 'xxx.csproj'. The Web Application Project xxx is configured to use IIS. To access local IIS Web sites, you must install all of the following components:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Internet Information Services.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;IIS 6 Metabase and IIS 6 Configuration Compatibility&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;ASP.Net&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;In addition, you must run Visual Studio in the context of an administrator account........"&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;Run VS.Net 2005 as Administrator - On the VS.Net 2005 shortcut, right click, Properties-Compatability and check the &lt;B&gt;Run as administrator&lt;/B&gt; box is checked. 
&lt;LI&gt;Check if ASP.NET is installed: Go to &lt;B&gt;Control Panel&lt;/B&gt; - &lt;B&gt;Programs and Features &lt;/B&gt;- &lt;B&gt;Turn Windows features on or off&lt;/B&gt; - &lt;B&gt;Internet Information Services&lt;/B&gt; -&lt;B&gt;World Wide Web Services&lt;/B&gt; - &lt;STRONG&gt;Application Development Features - Check ASP.Net option.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp; 
&lt;LI&gt;Make sure the IIS 6 compatibility is installed: Go to &lt;B&gt;Control Panel&lt;/B&gt; - &lt;B&gt;Programs and Features &lt;/B&gt;- &lt;B&gt;Turn Windows features on or off&lt;/B&gt; - &lt;B&gt;Internet Information Services&lt;/B&gt;&amp;nbsp;- &lt;B&gt;Web Management Tools&lt;/B&gt; - &lt;B&gt;IIS 6 Management Compatibility&lt;/B&gt; - Check all of them.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;img src="http://blogs.msdn.com/aggbug.aspx?PostID=3028325" width="1" height="1"&gt;</description><category domain="http://blogs.msdn.com/shahpiyush/archive/tags/Vista/default.aspx">Vista</category><category domain="http://blogs.msdn.com/shahpiyush/archive/tags/IIS+7/default.aspx">IIS 7</category></item></channel></rss>
