We on the SharePoint team are very happy for our colleagues in the Office Live team for releasing the public beta of their Workspace service yesterday. The official announcement is here, and Robert Scoble has posted a video interview, but the best place where you can get the latest news, ask questions, and participate in discussions about OLW is the recently launched Office Live Workspace Community site at http://officeliveworkspacecommunity.com.
Office Live Workspace provides free and easy collaboration functionality to and integration with the Office client products. These features are similar to the ones that have made Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 so popular with our enterprise customers. With OLW, Office users can now collaborate from virtually anywhere with practically anyone!
