Should I install SP1? What if I was told to wait? Post SP1 Rollup Now Available
In a recent report from product support, they have explained that customers running SP1 are experiencing less issues with no reported regressions not known or otherwise were not included in the post SP1 rollup. SharePoint hotfixes are cumulative. As always please test, test, test. The best and I'd say required reading and documentation on deploying service packs and hotfixes for WSS and MOSS are on TechNet. I've heard of some customers who use workflows and content deployment extensively who have benefited from the post SP1 rollup.
The Post SP1 Rollup for WSS and MOSS are available.
We have released the Post SP1 rollups. These are the fixes that were built during the Service Pack Lockdown (SPLock) timeframe that did not make it into the Service Pack. The build number for the Post SP1 Rollup is 12.0.6301.5000. When you install it, the version information will record as 12.0.6300.5000:
