In your post, you basically said that RTM was announced, and RTM bits will be soon available for download for WSS 3.0. Do you have a date for that yet?

I have a clean install of MOSS Standard Trial. I need to move the data over from my dev machine running B2TR. Can I do an export from B2TR and import it into Trial?

Toby, you should upgrade your B2TR environment (including the data) to RTM and then migrate the data to your clean install of MOSS.

I tried the step list to convert a SP2007 Trial w/ Enterprise to SP2007 w/ Enterprise but i keep getting the following error:

"This product key cannot be used to convert Office SharePoint Server Trial with Enterprise Client Access License to Office SharePoint Server with Enterprise Client Access License. "

The key that is being entered is the key given to us from Microsoft.

Please let me know what I can do to get this to work.

We are also experiencing the Enterprise to Enterprise error described above.

"This product key cannot be used to convert Office SharePoint Server Trial with Enterprise Client Access License to Office SharePoint Server with Enterprise Client Access License. "

It was also provided by Microsoft. Any ideas?

I've figured out why you and I are getting the same error.

We're running the Enterprise Trial version of Sharepoint 2007. The disk my department ordered is for the Standard Release, not the Enterprise Release. Therefore, the key cannot be used to upgrade from Enterprise to Standard.

We are using the 64bit Enterprise version. My problem seemed to be with the index server being in a hung state. It could have happened after the first initial try. But after rebooting it this morning while i had a Sharepoint tech on the line, i ran the license conversion and it went through. But I still got the failed message. So not sure why it still said failed. But we seem to be good to go!

I ran into this one. after a few days if trying to upgrade the server from the trial to an enterprise version it would error on every attempt. turned out the server sharepoint 2007 was on was 5 min ahead of the domain controler. "net time \\pdc /set /y" and it was all fixed.

From first question of common questions I assume that we could restore SPPS 2003 ( with windows 2003 32 bit, SQL 2000) backup to SPPS 2003 with Windows 2003 64 bit , SQL Server 2005.

Because if it is achievebale than it will be easy to shift to SPPS 2007 on Windows 2003 64 bit to get enhanced peformance

x86 hardware to a WFE (64bit) on a 64bit hardware ? Do we follow the normal path

Hi, we have W2003 hosting SPS2003 and MS SQL2000. We now have a new server W2003, MOSS 2007 with MS SQL 2005.

How do I move everything we've all contributed to the old site, to the new one?

I have been using MOSS Enterprise edition for 180 days which period expired last weekend. When I enter the product key the upgrade proceeds for a while and then produces a post setup configuration error... Help!
