If installing MOSS 2007 on Windows Server 2008 RC0, don't forget this; otherwise, you can't start Excel Services:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\12\BIN>

STSADM.EXE -o provisionservice -action start -servicetype

"Microsoft.Office.Excel.Server.ExcelServerSharedWebService,

Microsoft.Office.Excel.Server, Version = 12.0.0.0, Culture = neutral,

PublicKeyToken = 71e9bce111e9429c"

I have a clean Windows 2008 x64 (RTM) install.

I installed WSS 3.0 SP1 x64.

I tried to run the SharePoint Products ... Wizard but it hangs (Not Responding).

In the WSS log it says it's looking for a port and nothing after.

Maybe someone has some info on this behavior?
