Hi, This is a very good implementation of VE Maps to Sharepoint. But, I tried to check it and couldn't build the solutions neither cab files. Could it be possible to download cab files from codeplex???

I just posted the installable version of the solution at https://www.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ProjectName=CKS&ReleaseId=7708. Also, the manifest file in the source code has been updated, so the build should be a lot smoother now. Download the updated source .ZIP file if you had trouble compiling the source.

Thanks Lawrence for posting the new installable version. The installation now simply requires extracting the files to the local machine and running install.cmd.

P.S. Thanks Saqib, Yilei moved out of the role so she is not with this project any longer.

I mean my Intranet is a private site so I have to license (pay) Virtual Earth. Is this correct?

Readers might also be interested in IDV Solutions (www.idvsolutions.com) SharePoint / Virtual Earth product, Visual Fusion, which exposes SharePoint lists as GeoRSS, geocoded through MapPoint web service. It allows for, among other features, filtering lists by time and location, value base symbology, full search, etc.

Last week we were at the GEOINT 2007 conference in San Antonio demonstrating, for our National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency customer, integration of MOSS, VE, and MOSS Enterprise Search – all through our Visual Fusion software.

I am having problems with the Install, the supplied install program generates several errors which result in the deployment being unsuccessful

I have installed this using the install.bat with no errors, but at that point i am stuck. Adding the Campus maps part causes 3 on screen pop ups with a "callback.88" error and adding the landmark part causes the page not to load. Am i missing the database? Or something else?

Any help will be gratefully received.

I extract the .zip file on my maschine and run the install.cmd. Now what I should to do with the database?? Or something else? The site on http://<ServerName>/Lists/CampusMapsData/ConfigurationData.aspx doesn't exists and I am unable to add the Webpart to my site.
