These links open up to Microsoft's OWA home page. The actual location is appended to the end of the URL so you just have to copy the URL that points to the .exe.

I'm so excited about WSSV3 language pack for outher languages!!!
It's the great existance of these packs so fast!! but I have a big question and it's very important for me, Is there any tools for creating language packs? I wanna create a language pack for my language and I want to know what is the fast way for that???

dear Neo I've translate WSS v3 UI to my language :):) my language is Turkish but is very difficulty if you are not translate
1. goto http://www.aisto.com/roeder/dotnet/ and download
Lutz Roeder's .NET Resourcer
2. goto your default site path for example
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\5ccba0ce-a864-4b68-a43f-f7354f874b6e and goto App_GlobalResources directory and open wss.en-US.resx and other .resx files with the resourcer and translate all string value to your language and reopen your site page is perfect can anyone know good idea more than this way please tell me

The readme included with the download of WSSv3 SDK (WSS3SDK.EXE) makes mention of SDK documentation in a format for Visual Studio 2003/2005 help viewer (WSS3SDK4VS.EXE). I can't seem to find this version of the SDK available for download. Is there a link that can be provided for this also?

Hi... I'm trying to translate my WSS 3.0 to Portuguese (pt-BR).

But, some words in .resx that I change aren't work. It's still being showed in English.

For example: the "Cancel" text.
I have translated all "Cancel" to "Cancelar". But nothing happened.

There are any other files for translate ALL texts in SharePoint?

Rajesh, WSS V3 (and consequently, MOSS 2007) requires Windows Server 2003 and will not install on Windows XP.

Looks much better than the last version.
Suggestion: We are playing around with it and noticed that you are using a nice role based admin model to control the "Views" of what you can and cannot do in the ADMIN site. It too us a while to realise we didn't as a regular user (but site admin) have privilages to create a NEW sharepoint site (as this required you to have admin rights on the server). Once that was done the user can now see the menu option to add sharepoint to a site.
Can I suggest that at least for the ADMIN site that ALL options are visible and if you don't have privilage to use that appear grey.
This would have saved us 20mins looking for the button we had seen earlier when connected as System admin.

Is SPPS (Portal Server) Beta available also? I installed WSS Beta for 2007, but cannot find the Business Intelligence (BI) and other features I want to demo.

Richard, WSS 3.0 will only run on top of Windows Server. See detailed system requirements at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/windowsserver/sharepoint/techinfo/sysreqs.mspx.

Good Question Ramesha,,Why dont you provide some support for XP operating system guys using vs dotnet 2005 developers to do their sharepoint 2007 customisation and development works with sharepoint services.
