To add to the list of "most frequently requested features" for RM functionality, I would have thought that the ability for MOSS to support a hierarchical fileplan would have been up there somewhere.

Two questions:

1. Why should the certified package not be used if one is required to run ones records according to DoD-regulations?

2. It is hard to find out what the specific functions (and therefore impact) of the package are. You redirect me to MSDN, where tutorials are published. These tutorials supposedly explain "frequently requested features" of the DoD-package. Can you confirm these tutorials spell out the actual DoD-features, or don't they?

There is no support for it. I tried emailing and calling Microsoft for assistance and I keep getting the runaround from everyone I talk to. The had to have paid someone off to get recognized for the DOD 5015.2 certification because the add on pack does not do everything required by the compliance. Heck, it installs ok but does not do what it claims. To top it off, M$FT cannot even assist one of it's own Gold partners with the issue. If it were my company, I'd ditch M$FT for the HORRID support on this product. Why do I care? My client hired us to install and configure this in their MOSS environment, only to find out that what they advertised is snake oil.

Without spending weeks to enter all of the General Records Schedules from the National Archives and Records Administration, I was wondering if anyone might already have this and the dispositions in SharePoint lists that he or she could export to spreadsheets. I would love to be able to do a direct import of the GRS into my MOSS Records Center.
