I would love for my organization to make the move from PF's to SharePoint but I have found one major limitation of the calendars. It seems that you cannot invite attendees with a SharePoint calendar as you can with an Outlook PF. Is this correct or am I missing something?

I'm a little confused by the footnote "* Depending on scope of scenario, use Exchange PF's or SharePoint" and by the item in the table referring to "Distribution Group Archive".

I have a MOSS 2007 server setup with an Outlook 2007 client, and MOSS isn't accepting distribution lists in a contact folder. What am I missing? Further, certain fields in individual contacts are stripped. I'd love to leverage Sharepoint instead of PF's but I don't see the functionality there.

What about calendaring? It should be a separate product for BOTH Sharepoint and Exchange

Ditto Deanne Damato... I would muct prefer to use SharePoint for shared calendars such as conference room resources. However, the inability to shedule from Outlook is an obstacle.

Also ditto Concerned Exchange User... Would love to create and manage distribution lists in a SharePoint contact folder, but I don't see how to do this.

These would probably both be among my top five SharePoint feature requests.

We use mail-enabled public folders here. We also give certain groups permission to send as the email address of the public folders. I don't see support for that in MOSS. Also, accessing MOSS from either Outlook or OWA is not straightforward. It seems that all email support in MOSS is currently rather poor. Hopefully, that will improve as well.
