this was very useful - it would be great if there was a single word document that consolidated these articles together that I could circulate to key people within our org.

Thanks for the feedback on the need for a printable Word version of this content. A downloadable version of this guide will be available soon, in .doc format. As soon as it's ready I'll post an update to this blog.

This is extremely useful.I am part of a team responsible for setting up sharepoint ground rules for a large client, and it feels really great to realise that our ideas are not far from these recommendations.

I like the bigger picture and the level of detail. It really makes this mammoth task slightly lighter.
