How To: Run A Workflow When a Specific Field Changes

Hi all, Kesha here once again with a tip using Workflow. Stephen Howard posted a very helpful video showing how to design a Workflow which runs when a specific field changes, you can find it on Microsoft Office Online .

In short, the video demonstrates how to create a mirror field to store the old value of a column, then how to use the conditions to ensure the Workflow runs only when the Document Owner field changes. In addition, the video shows how the conditions prevent “infinite loop”.

Pretty good stuff, check it out.
