The Elegant Universe on PBS
I saw this in the paper this weekend, and my wife couldn’t understand why I was giggling like a little girl. Mr. Greene’s writing is so elegantly simple – I really hope it translates well into narrative television. Along with Hyperspace, by Michio Katu, this is one of my favorite physics explanation books. The Comcast folk are crawling around our new house installing cable into my office right now. One more 200GB drive to go, and my PC DVR is good to go – this will definitely help break things in…
