About Software Delivery Services - ConfiigMgr Production Manager
This blog is about Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 product. It highlights some of the key lesson learned through the journey of ConfigMgr'07 production management in Microsoft IT (a ConfigMgr'07 hierarchy managing ~300K systems within Microsoft)
Here is my quick introduction for folks who don’t know me….
Shitanshu is ConfigMgr Production Manager in Management Platforms and Service Delivery (MPSD) team which provides Software Delivery Service to some key external corporate customers as well as internally at Microsoft IT. Shitanshu is primarily responsible & accountable for managing a incident & problem management team for ConfigMgr07/SMS hierarchy to ensure the health of service delivery, as well as ensuring that services are available to provide software delivery services to MPSD worldwide customers.
Shitanshu has joined Microsoft India in 2004 as SMS Technologist and relocated to Microsoft Corporation, Redmond United States in 2007. Prior to that Shitanshu was SMS administrator for more than 7 years since SMS 2.0 days. And almost 2 years as a Lotus Domino Administrator and Cisco network engineer. Shitanshu has been working as an Application & Web developer for 3 yrs.
Shitanshu has Bachelor degree in computer science and completed Masters in computer applications. He is currently living in Bellevue with his wife Shweta & 6 month old Eshaan and love to travel and spend time with her.
