Videos on Testing Techniques

Last month a few of my WPF teammates and I were featured on Microsoft Tester Center. We talked about different approaches that we use in testing WPF.

My video consists of a high-level overview of how to test WPF controls. To find out more about testing WPF applications, you should consult the Application Quality Guide (the WPF team is still working on this).

The other videos featured Peter Antal, who talks about visual verification, and Matt Galbraith, who discusses testing WPF Browser hosted apps.

My post on paginating data is coming soon, in the meanwhile I hope you enjoy these!

Goals

Hello All!

I am a member of the WPF team. Currently I own testing for the DataBinding feature.

Here’s why I have this blog J

-          Walk through nifty tricks you can use in WPF

-          Talk about cool new features and how to use them

-          Get feedback on features or improvements people would like to see in WPF (and DataBinding in particular)

-          Talk about technology in general

I plan to

-          Keep my posts succinct, easy to read and well-organized J

-          Post on a regular schedule (don’t know what that is yet)

If you have suggestions/ideas for blog posts please let me know in the comments section. I plan to talk about simple ways to paginate displayed data in the near future...
