You can create traditional animations by using design tools that are "Silverlight-aware". The Expression Blend 2 May Preview provides this type of support -- it generates WPF-compatible XAML content, as well as Silverlight-compatible XAML content. You can download a trial version of Expression Blend at:&lt;/P&gt;
