September 2008 - Posts

Okay, so here's the low-down on the TechFEST event I blogged about in my previous post.

October 23-24 will mark “THE” event to be at for developers and IT professionals in Singapore.  Named TechFEST 2008, this event will feature 12 breakout sessions, free access to hands-on-labs, ask-the-expert clinics, and much more.  Each attendee will receive their own set of MS Press books (Silverlight 2, SQL Server, Windows Server) and other goodies from Microsoft and our sponsors.  And for the first 100 registrations, you will also receive a TechEd DVD set worth US$195, so I want you to reserve your seat today!

Mark October 23-24 on your calendars.  We'll be having Singapore's largest developer and IT pro event named TechFest.  Details to follow soon...

Came across this interesting site that's aim is to help developers and designers build sites in Silverlight leveraging skills they may already have.  You can add ideas of what you'd like to see by participating in the discussion thread.

We're discussing Rich Internet Applications at the upcoming Mix-It-Up event on September 25.  The first session should be quite exciting where we discuss how Microsoft and a partner company built the SingTel F1 Grid Girls site in 4 weeks time.
