So my colleagues Mark and Andy from the Singapore ISV Team blogged the other day that one of our Microsoft ISV partners HeuLab got featured in both the Singapore 2007 Budget Speech, and was profiled as local software heroes in the newspapers.

HeuLab, a 4 year old startup company making impressive strides in creative learning worldwide, was founded by two graduates from the National University of Singapore. In the Budget Speech, it was held up as a shining example of the new breed of local companies the Singapore government would like to see more of -- start in Singapore, and grow / globalize from Singapore.

Kudos to Mark, Andy and of course, our boss Daniel, for working hard and to ensure our partners get the recognition and support they so richly deserve.

I've been waiting for this for a while... glad to see 'Crossbow' Windows Mobile 6 is almost finally here. As usual, Engadget has the breaking news.

The early reviews are in:

Among the touted improvements: Better performance, integration with Vista, search in Email, Vista-like aesthetics, bundled VoIP, improved text prediction (finally!)

I cannot wait to upgrade my dopod 838Pro and give this a spin (assume the upgrade is supported...)

Updated: New features summarized at Jason Langridge's WebLog entry - "Windows Mobile 6 - What's New and What's Cool?"

Hmmm... I noticed my team-mate and fellow Evangelist who sits next to me - Chewy Chong's been fiddling with mobile devices recently, and proming to blow our minds away.

A clue just appeared on his blog post "Learning More - Windows Embedded".

Alright dude... you can tell us when you're ready.

Having been at Microsoft for about 3 weeks, I continue to be amazed with the vast amount of resources this place has. Take for instance, Walter Stiers blog post pointed out a taped lecture available of Malcolm Galdwell on Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking.

As a book lover, Microsoft Research's Authors2People Lecture Series is a gem of a find. Other than Malcolm Gladwell (The Tipping Point, Blink), this page comes with links to recorded lectures of great authors like Geoffrey Moore (Crossing the Chasm, Inside the Tornado), Neil Gaiman (Anansi Boys, Sandman), and other luminaries in the literary world.

Thoroughly enjoyable!
