About Me
I'm a Group Program Manager, in the Global Product Development division at Microsoft. Based in London I manage a team of program managers from Moscow to Sao Paulo who in turn provide international release support for Windows Live, Live Search and Mobile Services to the development teams in Redmond and the Consumer and Online business. My team also work on local and regional development projects to help fast track market specific features and customisations.
I have been working in IT for almost 20 years, and have worked for ninemsn in Australia and more recently MSN and Windows Live in Europe for the past 5 years. I am passionate about the internet and online services and love the fact that it has truly democratised things like photography, publishing and information access. I'm particularly interested in the social web and emerging services like Twitter, Friendfeed - and I'm also interested in the implications of these services in Search.
This blog is really an outlet for me to share thoughts, evolve ideas with a view to ultimately help Windows Live become an even more indispensable set of services in managing your digital life.
