Lukas, Connect, HDD Failure and VS2005/VSTS

I’ve been out of contact for a few days (estimation will continue soon) and there are a few items I should mention:

  1. Lukas rocks – we know it – so should you…. Seriously, we got this though a few months back and the process is just real now so congratulations Lukas.
  1. Connect has been a big success – we were booked in Wellington and Christchurch within a week for Developers. From my last report we were close on Auckland as well. What should we do – do you want us to see you more? Should we do more user group tours?
  1. On a personal note - hardware is flaky at times – I lost my HDD this week, it really was a huge bummer… I’m still catching up!
  1. VS2005 – people are confused over what is in the box compared to VSTS. I’ll work to clarify this I my Blog an also in Flash – all I can say is that VS2005 in it’s own right is awesome, it’s the reason I joint MSFT.
