Two new specifications were announced as W3C recommendations today: XML-binary Optimized Packaging (XOP) Message Transmisson Optimized Protocol (MTOM) and Resource Presentation SOAP Header Block (RRSHB) Congratulations to all involved to make this happen!

Interoperability Month Webcasts

Today saw the kick-off of the first web cast for "Interoperability Month", a month long series of web casts on Interoperability. I started the series with a 300 level talk on Web Services Interoperability. Overall, the session seemed to go well - attendance
