Next PDC - October 2007

Recently, we decided to do our next PDC in October of 2007.  PDC focuses on the strategic vision for the Microsoft platform over the course of the next couple of years or so, and we emphasize technology capabilities and architecture more than training at this premier conference.  We want PDC attendees to go home understanding what Microsoft is building, how it will help them deliver better/more valuable products, and why the technology is (or isn’t) suited to the demands of their particular application.

During the last PDC, we made an effort to have a better balance between technologies that developers could use in the near-term versus the long-term.  We got some excellent feedback from you all around that and we are going to strive to continue that with the next PDC as well.

Check here for updates.  You can also subscribe to the RSS feed to find out more information about the event as we get closer.

Namaste!

What are the chances that the PDC organizers are going to think of the girls a bit more this time around?

How many women will be registered for PDC?  Wouldn't it be great to oh, maybe get a tshirt that fits?   Why would anyone give up such simple, free marketing?  Why not show that you're proud of the number of women out there using MS technologies?  Plus it makes us feel wanted & respected.  All of that for the simple price of a fitted tshirt....

That's funny, I always thought that I accidentally got a girl's shirt at 05. It's an XL but barely big enough for me, and it's all stretchy. Do you want it, Pamela? ;)

Hi Pamela,

Thanks for the feedback.  The owner for the PDC at Microsoft is a woman this time around.  I have passed on your feedback to her.

Ha, well I might need a picture of you in that shirt to determine whether it will suit my girlish figure, Mike :)

Soma, Thanks for passing my thoughts on.  I know that I'm not the only girl out there who cares - and in fact I think there are any number of men who would also like the chance to get a shirt that fits, people who are XS or XXL.  I hope there is a way to accomodate that.

Cheers,

Pamela
